Meet the Team
Thanks for stopping in! We are Alyce and David McElhoes. Along with the support of our dedicated family team, we have created this business from the ground up.
Twenty-one years ago, we purchased 40 acres from the original homesteader of the land on a handshake deal. Our 3 children grew up here and had ducks, goats, cats, dogs, motorcycles, and go-carts. They went off to college, got degrees, and have come back to help with the family business. As a labor of love, we all built this beautiful gathering place.
Come stay, play, enjoy the wide open Colorado spaces that we call home, and make memories here just like we have!
Five years ago we had a vision to create a truly unique place where we could host guests in a variety of ways. Alyce wanted to build a space for weddings but David wanted it to have the features of a stand alone house.
The result?
A thoughtfully designed, carefully crafted, and abundantly loved home.
Built by Alyce, David, and their family team, the estate home is surrounded by 15 acres of land in picturesque Colorado. With timbers sourced out of the Black Forest fire, siding from the original homestead, and beetle kill pine throughout the interior, the ambiance of the house is one of a refined country barn.
The home features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, two fireplaces, a heated garage with games, patio with grill and hot tub, and a huge main level entertaining area. The space offers sleeping arrangements for 15-17 overnight guests and can accommodate up to 50 guests for events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, and more.
